How are you made right with God?

This is the most important question you will ever consider, and the way you answer it will impact eternity.  How are you made right with God? James 4:14 says “…what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” Life is short, and we have little time to prepare for eternity. Hebrews 9:27 says that “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Are you ready for that day? Allow me to take a few moments to answer three critical questions that tell us God’s simple plan of salvation:

Romans 4:24 -25; 5:6-10

“…If we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Therefore being justified by faith, [then] we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God…for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth [demonstrated] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Consider the answer of these three very important questions:

• Why do I need to be made right with God?        
• How has God provided a way to be made right with Him? 
• What must I do to be saved?
